Heartwood Absolution of Gin Cask Strength Gin 54.6% ABV 500ml

Built on Adams Distillery spirit from Western Tiers, Absolution of Gin is matured in a pair of decidedly un-classic gin casks: Goaty Hill Chardonnay and McWilliams Botrytis. Bottled at a muscular 53.4% ABV in 500ml, it’s a “matured gin” that drinks with the depth and swagger of a Heartwood malt.

In the glass, competition judges talk about sweet caramel and vanilla on the nose, a clear but well-handled alcohol hit, big, balanced sweetness on the palate and a long, warm finish – a profile that’s already earned it hardware at the London Spirits Competition and a Country Winner spot at the World Gin Awards 2022.
