The Kraken is made from a blend of light, molasses-based rums produced in Trinidad and Tobago. The Kraken is infused with 11 different herbs and spices. The rum is 40% ABV and the higher alcohol concentration means that less water is added to reduce it to its bottling proof – this results in more of its natural flavours remaining intact.
